REACHING DREAMS FROM SCRAPS
Marilou and Christopher Canubas are among the many micro-entrepreneurs who wish to provide for their children, especially in sending them to college. With an initial capital of Php 400 for their junk shop, Christopher had to go from one house to another just to look for junk to buy and sell.
Thanks to their sheer determination and the programs of Paglaum MPC, their business assets grew immensely. Looking for potential buyers has always been on their business mindset. As they increased in production, they availed of loans to invest in real property, equipment, and transportation to make their business operations easier and more efficient. Their junk shop continues to support the daily needs of the Canubas family, their employees, and the communities they serve.
Marilou and Christopher are armed with patience, courage, and resourcefulness that have shaped them to remain humble in developing their business. The Canubases are the living testaments to the very essence of Paglaum MPC as a beacon of hope for everyone who wishes to reach for financial freedom and realize their dreams.
